The NY Times recently called Seattle one of the best cities to visit for Labor Day…because of Bumbershoot, the city’s long-running arts and music fest.
We count our performances at Bumbershoot over the years as career high points and we also experienced some of our greatest moments there as a music fanatic, taking in countless amazing shows, including B.B. King, Soundgarden, Elvis Costello, King Sunny Ade, Richard Thompson, Parliament-Funkadelic, The Sex Pistols, Wu-Tang Clan and about a billion others.
This year’s lineup is typically, ridiculously wonderful, even if you just look at the headliners from each of the three nighttime mainstage shows: Bob Dylan, Weezer and Drake. Where else?
